Description

Carolyn will be presenting the principles that Frederick Matthias Alexander discovered based on developing mind/body conscious awareness.  We will experientially clarify the design of the head /neck/torso relationship, which Alexander called the Primary Control

Carolyn will talk the attendees thru the activity of getting in and out of a chair, which will enable us to see, that by being aware, we can have a choice to cooperate with the way we are designed to use ourselves.  When we choose to cooperate with ourselves, we live in a state of balance, physically, mentally and emotionally, thus creating a lightness of being and a strength that comes from knowledge that allows us to have a sense of choice inone’s life, rather than habitual reaction.
