Asking about Asking: Mastering the Art of Conversational Fundraising 

Do you want to improve the results when you ask for charitable contributions? Have you ever wondered how to get free from assuming how to ask and guessing what to ask? Would you like to employ simple, effective, proven techniques for soliciting contributions and recruiting volunteers?

 

Asking about Asking will equip you to:

  • Assist donors in maximizing their philanthropic experience.
  • Cultivate and solicit gifts more confidently.

Speaker: Kent Stroman, CFRE, CPA

M. Kent Stroman teaches passionately,  consults wisely,  writes creatively,  speaks inspirationally and helps willingly. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) whose counsel has been honed by more than thirty years’ experience in nonprofit leadership,  fundraising,  strategic planning, capital campaigns,  major donor solicitation and financial management. Kent loves learning,  reading,  traveling, singing,  cooking,  eating and fun!

 

 

The program schedule will be:

11:30 am – 1:15pm, normally scheduled luncheon, Part 1 of the program. (Registration opens at 11:30, program should start around noon, with speaker starting by 12:15pm)
1:30 am – 2:30pm, Part 2 of the program

Rate:

$25 for members (They can choose to stay for the second part free of charge)
$35 per session for guests for a total of $70 for the half day program.

The registration will be limited to the first 150 people who register

Copies of the book will be available at registration for $24.95
