Funding the Strategic Plan:
Turning Priorities into Realities
Presented by: Robert N Teeter, Ph.D. President, Teeter Associates
Your non-profit organization has scheduled a strategic planning process or has just completed a three year strategic plan. How should institutional advancement and development staff best spend their time to attract more philanthropic dollars to meet their organization’s priorities? Annual appeals, special events, planned giving programs, creating an endowment, seeking government; foundation and trust grant opportunities, or concentration on attracting major individual donors? Is it time for a capital campaign?
During this session Bob Teeter will share his over 30 years of experience in philanthropy with a strategic approach to fundraising to optimize time spent in development activities that are focused on what best fits the individual non–profit organization’s strategic plan priorities. Over the last 25 years Bob has served as president of Teeter Associates, a management consultant firm specializing in helping non-profit organizations in important ways, primarily through planning and fundraising. Bob and the Teeter Associates staff of nine have worked on a variety of planning and fundraising projects both small and large within the Western Pennsylvania region.
