What it means to be a donor-centered organization. Key components of a relationship-building program. How to involve your board members in fund development, including relationship building and soliciting. And, how you, as a fundraiser must lead. The sad truth is, in the United States, donor retention is scandalously low. And, the majority of newly acquired donors flee after their first gift.
But you can improve these dismal results. First, raise your DCQ (donor-centered quotient). Only then will you realize the full potential of your donors. Second, nurture relationships to build donor loyalty and you’ll see the difference in your bottom line. Here’s the good news:You can do this! Follow the research. Carry out the proven tips. You’ll have more fun – and so will your boss and board members. And, you’ll raise more money!
