General Summary:  Administer, promote, and distribute scholarships from the Foundation to CCAC students and plan, develop, and implement a program to fulfill CCAC’s goals and objectives relating to the alumni program.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years’ experience in responsible administrative position; excellent writing, communication and organization skills; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to work under limited supervision. Experience with nonprofit management, alumni relations, or fundraising strongly preferred. Experience with and/or knowledge of Raiser’s Edge and AwardSpring or other scholarship management software preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential.


1.  Administer scholarship website and manage distribution of more than 100 scholarships twice annually; work with office staff and donors to determine scholarship award amounts and criteria; create and update scholarship applications; assist students in application process; run reports as requested; work with ITS and Registrar’s Office to notify students of site availability; design and update web presence, promote site via social media and email blasts and create training materials and user’s guides; coordinate application review process and awarding of scholarships; work with Student Accounts Office to transfer scholarship awards to recipients’ accounts; notify students and donors of scholarship awarding. Work with donors in establishing criteria for newly endowed scholarships.

2.  In coordination with the CEO and CCAC staff, plan, develop, and implement an alumni program for CCAC. Manage the work of the CCAC Alumni Council or other related group. Attend monthly meetings and/or committee meetings.

3.  Manage the alumni email account and alumni hotline. Respond to all incoming communications and requests.

4.  Maintain, update and monitor web pages for the Office of Alumni Affairs.

5.  Update and maintain Alumni Affairs’ database, utilizing The Raiser’s Edge. Provide queries and reports on data when requested, update records, import new graduate records twice annually and perform other database-related duties as required or assigned.

6.  Manage approvals, tracking and management of online alumni mentoring network.

7.  Compile and track alumni program evaluation and feedback.

8.  Coordinate external and internal activities with faculty, staff, alumni, Alumni Council (or related group), and Educational Foundation members and community representatives. Coordinate in the planning and development of alumni-related events and activities.

9.  Maintain, update and monitor social media efforts. Design and send broadcast emails for alumni.

10.  Contact and interview alumni, draft copy, take photographs, design and distribute quarterly alumni e-newsletter. Draft alumni articles for additional internal communications.

11.  In coordination with Foundation staff, process and track all incoming Alumni Association memberships and alumni donations through the Annual Fund. Fulfill membership package mailings, update alumni records and process thank you letters for Annual Fund donations.

12.  Serve as project representative at appropriate meetings, events and activities.

13.  Assist with CCAC Educational Foundation activities.

14.  Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Clearances:  Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
