Office Manager/Development Associate

Applications are now being accepted for the position of Office Manager/Development Associate in the Office of Stewardship for the Diocese of Pittsburgh.  The Office Manager/Development Associate position provides essential oversight and coordination of the Development Office.  Responsibilities of this position include data and information management and project-planning support.  In addition, this position manages donor databases for gift processing, including planned giving donations; manages online giving to ensure accurate and efficient record keeping; and manages several special events using electronic registrations.  This position supervises support staff including temporary help and volunteers as required.

Qualifications for the Office Manager/Development Associate include:

  • A Bachelors’ degree in Nonprofit Management or related field;
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ of administrative office experience including office support services and supervising staff and volunteers;
  • Experience managing a relational database supporting a team of fund raising professionals;
  • Experience in all phases of gift and pledge management;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Proficient with Raiser’s Edge;
  • Experience with Giftwrap and Planned Giving Manager preferred;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proactive attitude that focuses on creating ideas and plans for correcting issues and handling daily tasks with the ability to multitask and set priorities;
  • Ability to protect confidential information.

This is an E04 position.
