We are in search of an engaging, innovative, and proven Fundraising leader to join our InVision Foundation team. InVision Foundation is responsible for the design, creation, and implementation of fundraising strategies to support the programs, operations, and expansion activities of the InVision Human Services family of companies. This individual will serve as a vital member of the senior leadership team and be responsible for the financial and operations management of the Foundation, and for establishing strong relationships with current and prospective individual, corporate, and foundation donors and non-profit community stakeholders. Key duties include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Provide expertise to the Corporate Relations Officer, President/CEO, and Board of Directors in establishing, growing, and sustaining annual and long-term fundraising goals, key donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
  • Strengthen and build relationships with institutional funders particularly diversifying and increasing support from corporations and foundations.
  • Design and direct programs to increase donor base and build relationships between the Foundation and current and prospective donors including major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, capital campaigns, and special events.
  • Oversee the establishment of best-in-class infrastructure, including systems, data, policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness and accountability across the operations.
  • Oversee strategic review, design and leadership of the Foundation team. Coach, mentor, and motivate Foundation team members to maximize their potential and to support the fundraising strategies and achieve measurable results.
  • Prepare the annual budget and monitor fundraising targets for increased revenue; regularly reporting on progress against donor engagement and stewardship touchpoints, revenue and quota objectives, and pipeline management details.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Working Conditions

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years progressively responsible experience in fundraising, major gifts, and planned giving, minimum of 4 years in management. Experience in capital campaigns preferred.
  • Experience leading a team responsible for major gifts, corporate and foundation support, annual giving, planned giving, events, and digital fundraising.
  • Demonstrated success in building philanthropic relationships and securing significant gifts at the five-six figure levels.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of fundraising across a growing multi-site, statewide portfolio of programs, in line with strategic expansion efforts.
  • Track record of strategically building development in pipelines, and volunteer networks to serve fundraising objectives.
  • Excellent communication (written, oral and presentation) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to positively interact with diverse personalities, influential, motivated and passionate leader, team development skills.
  • Experience in implementation and use of fundraising and donor management software.
  • Position is in a general office environment; some travel required.
